Dear Friend,
As a visitor to our gallery, you know the Artisans' Guild continues to bring high quality art and craft to the North Florida community. Our members include prize wining professionals in many media. We know you value beautiful items made locally by your own friends and neighbors. As one of the oldest functioning cooperative galleries in America, we are proud to have the steadfast support of our community. We opened with a small group in 1970 and now have 60 active members.
This cooperative guild gallery, which has been in Gainesville, Florida for 41 years, is composed of more than 50 regional north Florida artists. The gallery moved to the new downtown location, opposite the Hippodrome Theatre, in August, 2011. From traditional baskets to contemporary photography, you will discover a wide-range of Fine Arts and Fine Crafts created by local artist-members of the guild. Browse for art for you, your home, your office and for gifts for babies, children and grown-ups. This unique gallery provides local artists with a place to show and to sell their work. The gallery is open daily and open late on Friday and Saturday nights. Your support directly helps the local economy and the local artists of our gallery.
