​Marie is a ceramic artist based in Gainesville, Florida, whose work reflects more than 20 years of experience with clay. She first learned pottery in Montreal, Qc and continued developing her craft while living in California and British Columbia before establishing her home studio in Florida.
Working primarily in functional and decorative ceramics, Marie is drawn to the balance between precision and creativity. Her current work focuses on sgraffito techniques, featuring clean lines, geometric patterns, and carefully considered designs that highlight the beauty of form and surface. Through carving and contrast, she creates pieces that are both visually striking and thoughtfully crafted.
All of Marie's ceramics are made for everyday use and are food-safe and microwave-safe. While her pieces can withstand normal dishwasher use, hand washing is recommended to help preserve their beauty and longevity for years to come
