This journal is one of a kind, made of African prints and backed with denim. The handmade cover is wrapped around a college ruled composition notebook that can be replaced when full. A pocket on the inside front of the cover is good for writing implements, cards, or notes. The back cover is decorated with decorative stitching and a scrap of fabric.
The Adinkra symbol on the front cover is the Kokuromotie, i.e., the thumb. It symbolizes teamwork, cooperation, and harmony, much like a thumbs up.
