My recent work is a study of line, interval and space - I am a designer at heart, finding     satisfaction in the nuances of line, in conceiving and organizing a visual composition.
I am working with threads of glass and manipulating them with heat, using them in design on an underlying base of glass.  Some designs are deliberate , others are spontaneously constructed.
My basic process is kiln-forming,  using flame-work techniques for shaping design elements. My pieces are finished by sandblasting and fire polishing.
